"The red chest of a scarlet breasted sunbird is yet another little bird that adds a blast of color t5o the African landscape.  I like scarlet breasted sunbirds because I see them as frequently in the bush as I do in people's gardens.  These are many species of sunbirds in Africa and Asia.  They have some of the same similarities of American hummingbirds.  Both species are nectar feeders that pollinate flowers.  They are generally colorful with metallic and iridescent accents." - Kim Diment
