This Brown Pelican was observed on a trip to Belize.  Not in its full plumage, this bird was still a handsome fellow.  There are several things that I find stunning about pelicans.  One is there gracefulness while flying.  For a clunky looking bird on land they are beautiful flyers.  The other thing I like is their Kamikaze way of dropping out of the air and slamming into the water to collect some poor unfortunate fish.
