"My first encounter with prairie dogs was when I was about 10 years old.  My parents had decided to take a long family vacation out to Yellowstone Park.  Somewhere along the way we stopped for a picnic lunch.  I decided to share some of my lunch with my fellow rodent and within minutes I was sitting amongst twenty or more of these little fellows."
