We found this bull one morning in Nakuru National park. He was in musth. This is a state that all older males go through once a year. Generally they are a little more aggressive and unpredictable. A telltale sign an elephant is in musth is a thick greenish fluid draining from both sides of their face. This guy, even in musth, was quite content and went about his business in a pretty uninterested way. - Kim Diment |
